Saturday’s Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium was a 40 lap event on a 2K circuit. The first attack came just 2 laps into the race and was followed by several counter attacks; however, the group was back together as Ted launched the next move. Ted was the solo rider in front for 5 laps and won one of the lucrative primes before being reabsorbed by the peloton. The successful break of the day happened with just 14 laps to go and worked well together. Alejandro Borrajo (Colavita Sutter Home) outsprinted the group for the day’s win.
