BISSELL® Pro Cycling's Ben Jacques-Maynes Hanges with World's Fastest
- BISSELL Top Placed Us Continental Team; Fifth Overall -

GRAND RAPIDS, MI., February 17, 2008 –BISSELL Pro Cycling’s (BPC) Ben Jacques-Maynes held a solid top ten placing competing against the world’s fastest cyclists only to be bumped to from the top ten after the last rider had crossed the finish line.

Jacques-Maynes eleventh place finish puts him in the overall standings as the top placed domestic racer (US Continental). The combined team results placed BISSELL Pro Cycling as the top placed US Continental cycling team and fifth overall following today’s prologue.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with today’s outcome, “said Director Sportif Glen Mitchell.  “Given that all the Pro Tour teams as well as Pro Continental and US Continental teams have brought out their top guns, it’s an impressive result well beyond our expectations.”

Added Bissell’s team manager, Mark Olson, “Ben Jaques-Maynes proved again today that he is among one of the world’s fastest time trialists.  The entire team and staff outperformed themselves today and we are looking forward to an exciting week.”

Following the departure of the final rider from the start gate, BISSELL’s Clean Sweep Wagon received thunderous cheers equal to those extended to race crowd favorites.

The BISSELL Pro Cycling team races on Pinarello’s top Prince road bikes and all-carbon Montello FP8 and FM1 TT bikes, all equipped with SRAM’s top of the line RED gruppo.
