Stage 6 - Saturday, September 13
Hermann to St. Charles
Road Race
110 miles

Not unlike the other four 90 + mile stages here at the Tour of Missouri, the attacks started as soon as the riders left the neutralized zone. It wasn't until the first sprint line that a break finally stuck – a group of eleven containing BPC’s Scottie Zwizanski. Wrestling with crosswinds, headwinds the group was allowed a 4’45” gap. At the final KOM, an exhausted Zwizanski – got gapped and eventually rolled back to the main field.
Before the day's start Zwizanski had commented that “he was already a bit cooked from his twenty-minute break yesterday and I think I'll be sitting in today.” But when the opportunity was there to go with break, Zwizanski was on it!
From the viewpoint of Media Car #1, BPC’s Zwizanski was definitely doing a fair share of the lion’s work, taking long hard pulls. Attached is a quick snap as we flew by him to the front of the break.
